Lord Lieutenant presents Queen’s Award for Enterprise to CommAgility

Loughborough, UK – 27th June, 2013 CommAgility was yesterday presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in a ceremony at Loughborough University Science and Enterprise Park, where the company is based.

The Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Lady Gretton, made the presentation. Attendees included Steve Rothberg, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise) at Loughborough University, Peter Hogarth, Regional Director East Midlands at UKTI, and Rowena Limb, Director, BIS East Midlands & South East Midlands.

As announced in April, Loughborough-based CommAgility received the award for International Trade, in recognition of its success in selling to overseas markets. From 2010 to 2012, CommAgility’s export sales grew by 51%. CommAgility designs, manufactures and sells complex electronic products for next generation wireless telecoms, focusing on 4G technology and new standards such as LTE and LTE Advanced.
