Application mobility with MEC

Presented by Dan Warren, Samsung Electronics R&D Institute UK at CWIC 2020: At the Edge

MEC standards today focus on how to get an application running at the edge, and how to allow phones to communicate it. Mobility is only just starting to be addressed, especially how to transfer stateful applications from one edge node to another without affecting latency. This talk will discuss the technical options and show some initial results from research into this area.
