Patient-Controlled Records Disrupting Electronic Health Records

Electronic health records have the wrong architecture for integrated care. Patient portals are EHRs' well-meaning but still incorrect solution to integrated care. Patient-controlled records are the only answer. Yet Google, Microsoft and now Apple have fumbled the opportunity by leaving out the professionals. But the disruption of EHRs by PCRs has already happened – and this talk will show this with real-world examples.
