The ability to transfer high volumes of clinical data at very high speeds, when combined with a whole range of technologies including mobile, wearables and AI etc., unleashes a whole raft of possibilities for the delivery of high-quality care. What does that mean though for the practising clinician both now, and in the medium and longer term? For all the potential benefits of the technology and capability to be fully realised, clinicians and their patients will need to be fully engaged, contributing from the outset to help define and implement sustainable change.
