Indoor positioning has gradually eased its way into our lives. First it appeared in large public places: travel hubs, shopping malls. Then it found an increasingly vital role in large industrial buildings, eventually moving via the workplace and into the home.

At this online SIG events from the Location SIG, they explored the problems and solutions for location in factories and warehouses. Location technology has become indispensable for safety and optimisation in many industries, providing constant vigilance for misplaced machinery and orchestrating the precise ballet of robots needed to maximise production safely.
