The National Digital Twin – an ecosystem of connected digital twins

The vision for Digital Built Britain has the potential to release enormous value for the people of the UK, both in the delivery of new assets and in the performance of our existing systems. Making better use of data is central to this vision because better decisions, based on better data, lead to better outcomes. Enabling secure resilient data sharing across organisational boundaries is easier said than done, but this is exactly what we need if we are to connect digital twins and pave the way for the development of the National Digital Twin. This presentation will: introduce the National Digital Twin, explain why we need it and outline what is being done to deliver it.
