Western society is underpinned by several interlinked Critical National Infrastructures (CNI). In our modern world, these networks are increasingly interlinked – ‘Smart Cities’ – ‘The Internet of Things’, but the network on which they all depend is electricity; without electricity, our modern world grinds to a halt very quickly.
