A brief summary of the current status of LoRaWAN as a communications technology. Starting with some basics of the LoRa modulation technique and deeper dive into the LoRaWAN specification produced by the LoRa Alliance. Then onto some examples of products on the market and how they enable users to quickly deploy their own LoRaWAN solution. Finally, a quick look at the commercially available network solutions including satellite based solutions.
