Taking IoT control of securely running your own life

At minimum our world needs best practices that will ensure sufficiently secure IoT solutions can and will be built. The talk reflects on the current work of the IoT Security Foundation in this area. But even sufficient security is no absolute guarantee of privacy. We look in most detail at the high value to be gained in control, privacy and "defence of self" from reversing the trends and troubles in control and ownership of data and IoT-value. We look at the latest trends of putting those controls back securely in the hands of the originators, whether they be individuals or corporations.
