Spatial dynamics of the 5G millimetre wave channel

Propagation models that were useful for planning 4G networks will become less useful in 5G millimetre wave networks as there is a requirement for more deterministic models. This presentation will investigate the spatial dynamics of the wireless channel and their importance on the design, development and deployment of 5G millimetre wave communication systems that make use of effective beamforming and beamtracking algorithms to provide optimum and ubiquitous coverage even for challenging high-speed mobile applications.
