Bringing the UK semiconductor community together - from idea to impact
The Semiconductor SIG is a new initiative within Cambridge Wireless, created to convene the full breadth of the UK semiconductor ecosystem. Emerging from recent member consultations and collaborative workshops - including early focus‑group sessions with industry, academic and government participants - the SIG is now in active development as we co‑create its purpose, priorities and operating model.
Our goal is to build a space where technical leaders, innovators, and end‑users can exchange insight, explore emerging technologies, and address shared challenges across the semiconductor value chain. Early discussions have highlighted key opportunity areas including advanced packaging, chiplet integration, sovereign supply‑chain resilience, talent development and ecosystem coordination.
