Fantastic new opportunity to join an exciting technology company based in Cambridge. They develop software packages that monitor and report back suspicious activities or anomalies. This is done by realtime scanning all the activity on a specific network and the software will then ‘learn’ what is acceptable and hunt down what is not!
To be considered you’ll be degree educated and have an active interest in the likes of Machine Learning, data mining, Probability and Statistics Analysis, AI, neural networks. Its likely you would have studied such topics during University and of particular interest will be candidates that have furthered their research by completing a Masters or Phd. Some programming will also be required with either Python or Java.
The position will see you working as part of a close knit team of researchers and data scientist in processing and modelling of big data. Statistical models and algorithms to improve efficiency. Contributing to the future data science strategy and new products or optimisation of existing. May involve some customer work too as you gain experience of the business. The company really pride themselves on how they develop talent internally.
