DevOps Practice Lead

Your main responsibility will be to oversee the development, implementation, and management of our DevOps strategy. You'll play a critical role in bridging the gap between our development and operations teams, fostering seamless collaboration and ensuring efficient software delivery. 

This role will be based in Cambourne, UK. 

 

Your Responsibilities  

  • Defining and implementing DevOps best practices 

  • Designing and managing CI/CD pipelines 

  • Technical leadership and mentorship and staying current with industry trends 

  • Monitoring and optimizing performance and acting as release and test manager 

  • Implementing security best practices and measures 

  • Managing CI/CD infrastructure and systems 

 

Your Skills and Experience  
 

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field and 3-5 years of experience as DevOps Leader/Engineer, IT operations engineer or a similar role 

  • Proven track record applying DevOps practices 

  • Sood understanding of business technology like SAP or Sales Force, familiar with coding and scripting 

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong can-do mentality and strategic mind-set and good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders as well as peers 

  • Fluent in English speaking and writing (German is a plus) 

  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro 

  • Work experience in related industry in an international environment 

  • Deep understanding of agile practices (DevOps, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, OKR); certification is a plus
