Why this role matters

The IT Evolution Programme is an exciting, innovative and ambitious programme of change that spans the whole of BT.   We are transforming BTs IT landscape in a way that will transform the experience of our customers, colleagues and partners through a business-led partnership that will enable the adoption of strong architectural principles and leading edge technologies.     This is part of a broad transformation agenda, where IT is one pillar, the others being Product Simplification, Process Simplification and Network Simplification.   The transformational aspects of this role encompasses business change, communication and transformation measurement.

To make all of this work, we need people to lead on adoption so that all our changes land effectively, building on methods we have been applying successfully in our human centred service design.   Our team of adoption leads will connect with functional and change leaders across our domain to help them plan their initiatives, support them as they pilot and go through change, and provide assurance as they move towards putting their changes fully live.   This vital team also provides an overarching view of the change agenda and our evolving operating model for the next 2-5 years so that we have visibility of our challenges and opportunities, to help us address and capitalise on them together.
