Introducing the New PRO-DAR Receiver Multicoupler

Press Release published by antennaPRO, under Radio Technologies, Systems Integration

The PRO-DAR is a new high dynamic dual amplifier receiver multicoupler designed for analogue LMR/PMR and digital DMR/dPMR radio applications in the 80 MHz, 150 MHz VHF band and 450 MHz UHF bands.

The PRO-DAR is a new high dynamic dual amplifier receiver multicoupler designed for analogue LMR/PMR and digital DMR/dPMR radio applications in the 80 MHz, 150 MHz VHF band and 450 MHz UHF bands.

PRO-DAR Main Features:

• Ultra-high dynamic range amplifier ensures outstanding multicoupler linearity and high reject of distortion products.

• Redundant amplifier design with two identical amplifier stages coupled in parallel ensures high reliability. If a fault occurs in one amplifier stage, the amplifier will continue to operate with a gain of around -6 dB relative to the output power. The status LED on the front of the unit will go from a constant green light to a flashing red light.

• Low amplifier noise figure ensures the lowest possible S/N deterioration of the received and distributed RF signals. This will help detect a fault condition in the RF amplifier circuitry or loss of AC and DC supply.

• High isolation between receiver outputs ensures insignificant low mutual coupling between the connected receivers.

• Supply voltage/current monitoring alarm circuitry with floating relay switch-over alarm contact.

• Highly suited for the following market sectors: transportation, maritime, aviation, energy distribution, gas production, and oil production.
