Faifax County EDA joins Cambridge Wireless
FAIRFAX COUNTY EDA JOINS CAMBRIDGE WIRELESSThe Fairfax County Economic Development Authority of Virginia USA (www.fairfaxcountyeda.org) has joined Cambridge Wireless.
The FCEDA promotes Fairfax County, adjacent to Washington D.C., as one of the world's best business locations.
More than 70 UK companies have established their US operations in Fairfax County and are among the 6,000 technology and telecoms companies making up the dynamic, diverse and cosmopolitan business community there.
The FCEDA fosters and promotes the governmental, social, educational, and environmental infrastructure designed to make Fairfax County a world-class 21st-century business centre and the global capital of the knowledge industry – not surprising then that Time magazine called Fairfax County “one of the great economic success stories of our time”.
Director of the London Office of the FCEDA, Ross Clarke, said: “Cambridge Wireless is one of those excellent organisations that the FCEDA simply has to be associated with. The synergy between the Authority and Cambridge Wireless members is clear.”
He added: “There is no doubt we can work together to mutual benefit.”
Opened in 1998, the FCEDA’s UK office is located in the heart of London and serves as a resource for UK companies that are interested in expanding into the large US market and want to find the best location in which to do it.
Members who would like to discuss how the FCEDA can help them start, expand or relocate their business in Fairfax County, are welcome to contact either Ross Clarke or David Wallen by telephone on 020 7930 5590, by e-mail to [email protected] or by writing to the Fairfax County Economic Development Office, 93 Jermyn Street, St James's, London SW1Y 6JE.
