Instant 3G Office

Where there is no broadband available or while you wait for an internet connection, the 3G instant office provides internet, phones, shared printer, shared hard drive, video monitoring and fax to email. All using our fixed IP address business grade mobile broadband service.

For temporary offices, construction sites, events, holiday lets and anywhere that there is no broadband service, Anvil's Instant 3G Office is the quick and easy answer. We pre-configure a 3G router and VoIP phones with the area codes of your choice so that installation consists of plugging in and switching on. In under 4 minutes the phones have dial tone and you can be browsing the internet.

The service is based on fixed IP address SIM using private internet connections so that no traffic goes over the public internet. This gives enhanced security, performance and reliability. The best performance we have seen on an instant office are 8.99 megabytes download and 3.1 megabytes upload speed. An average performance would be 4-5 meg down and 2 meg up in a moderate signal area.

For more challenging signal strength coverage we supply an external antenna to maximise the performance. The coverage is provided by Three UK who have two huge advantages over other operators. The first is that Three support VoIP traffic over their mobile network so a full voice and data service can be delivered. The second is that for 3G data services, Three have the best coverage and performance in the UK.

The supplied 3G router has print server capabilities and a file sharing application and when fax to email on a PC is added you can have a fully functional office. Moving an instant office to a new location is as simple as the first installation, just unplug, move the equipment to the new location and plug it back in to power and your office the installation is complete.

The router can be powered by a 12v DC power adapter as an option for where true mobility is a requirement. Remote management and monitoring: The fixed IP address on the Anvil SIM means that you can either remotely support the router or with a simple port forwarding rule manage any device attached to the router.

A common use for this feature is to connect a video camera to the router directly or via a simple switch and use a browser to connect to the IP address of the SIM and see the camera view live. If the video camera has sensors for alarm situations, video transmission can be initiated by the camera and pictures sent over the 3G network to any IP address anywhere on the web.
