Chronos becomes first Partner in Transmode's Enlighten Ecosystem with SyncWatch System

Chronos is the first partner in Transmode’s Enlighten™ Ecosystem, bringing network synchronisation monitoring and management capabilities via the integration of its SyncWatch network probes and SyncWatch NetSMART software.

Chronos Technology Limited, a leading provider of network synchronisation equipment and monitoring and management solutions and services, is the first partner in Transmode’s Enlighten™ Ecosystem, bringing network synchronisation monitoring and management capabilities via the integration of its SyncWatch network probes and SyncWatch NetSMART software.

The EnlightenEcosystem consists of third-party software solutions and further extends the network and service management capabilities Transmode currently offers network operators. Ecosystem accompanies Transmode’s Enlighten™ multi-layer management suite which includes fully integrated network planning and design tools, to provide full life-cycle solutions that enable operators to move seamlessly between network planning, deployment and operation phases of the life-cycle.

The integration of SyncWatch into Enlighten™ brings visibility of SyncWatch probes on the Enlighten™ network GUI, full access to SyncWatch NetSMART and alarm correlation between packet-optical network alarms and any associated SyncWatch alarms to ensure swift resolution of any sync affecting network events.

Prof. Charles Curry Founder and Managing Director of Chronos, said: “We are very pleased to announce this partnership with Transmode. Our combined solutions can greatly enhance network capabilities for operators and help to ensure that the synchronisation network is robust and fit for purpose.” He added “

Sten Nordell, Transmode’s CTO added, “We are delighted to be working with Chronos via the Enlighten™ Ecosystem. Chronos is well-known within the synchronisation community and highly trusted for their synchronisation knowledge and expertise. Incorporating their SyncWatch monitoring and management solution into Enlighten™ provides our customers with the visibility and assurance that they need to provide reliable and scalable transport networks with the best synchronisation performance.”
