Argon Design agrees that v1.0 of IoT/M2M technology "Weightless" is a go!
Alan Scott, CEO Argon Design and Matthew Bailey, VP Marketing, took part in the fourth plenary session of an IoT/M2M communications technology, "Weightless", held at CSR offices, Cambridge, UK on 3rd April 2013.After 14 months of hard work, with participation in the Weightless SIG from representatives of many international companies, this GLOBAL standard was ratified at V1.0. A milestone!
Weightless is a transformative communications technology that will enable the "Machine to Machine" and "Internet of Things" market estimated at 50 Billion Devices by 2020.
Not only is Argon Design active in the standard, has developed some of the technology, it works with the Weightless Marketing SIG promoting and educating businesses on the enormous impact this technology can have.
