Recent Appointment General Manager – Smart Mobility

Bailey Fisher Executive Search is delighted to have worked with Castrol innoVentures, the corporate venturing arm of BP Castrol, founded in 2010 to develop disruptive technologies and build the Castrol business beyond Lubricant.

Toby Young, Partner at Bailey Fisher, was appointed to identify a highly entrepreneurial individual to build a new business globally for Castrol in the Smart Mobility space. Leveraging digital technology to improve the consumer experience was identified as a key aspect of the role. 

The successful candidate, Angel Gambino, brings a strong combination of entrepreneurial flair and corporate experience as well as a track record in digital content and business development. Angel was instrumental in the development of the iPlayer at the BBC and subsequently held executive roles developing new platforms and channels at MTV & Bebo.

Angel has held leadership roles within early stage & high-growth companies as well as spearheading innovation at Westfield, the global retail group, during the London 2012 Olympic games.
