10th New Navigator Seminar 2015 - Call for Abstracts

The Royal Institute of Navigation is calling all navigators, engineers, scientists and surveyors to submit abstracts for its 10th New Navigator Seminar 2015 in Cambridge

If you are a PhD, MSc, or final-year undergraduate student and are interested in positioning/navigation technology or looking at the possibility of a career in this field, then the annual Royal Institute of Navigation’s New Navigator Seminar is not to be missed.

Supported by Cambridge Wireless (CW), this one day seminar, now in its tenth year, is a special event for researchers to present their positioning/navigation research to a wide audience and to gain an awareness of other developments in the domain.

Benefits of attending include the opportunities to:

  • Gain experience speaking at a conference, in an informal and friendly environment
  • Learn about the latest innovations in navigation and positioning technology
  • Network with key academic, industry & government representatives
  • Discuss potential career opportunities

Those students chosen to present their research will be given a year’s free guest membership of the RIN. A special prize (cash and certificate) will be awarded for the best student presentation.

Attendance is free to speakers, £10 for students, £30 for RIN & CW Members and £50 for others.
