Bailey Fisher partners with Silicon Valley Comes to the UK on Scaling up: the next big opportunity

Bailey Fisher Executive Search is delighted to partner with Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK) as the prestigious entrepreneurial event returns to Cambridge for its 9th year.

SVC2UK returns to Cambridge on 4th November 2015 to discuss “Scaling up: the next big opportunity” in the historic Debating Chamber at the Cambridge Union Society. This exclusive event brings serial entrepreneurs from Silicon Valley together with UK entrepreneurs, business leaders and students to offer insights into the most disruptive technologies that are scaling - and where the next billion dollar company is might come from.

Speakers will include serial edtech entrepreneur John Katzman; entrepreneur, gamer and computer scientist Rahul Vohra, internet marketing expert & scale up entrepreneur Hillary Mickell; consumer electronics visionary Corinne Vigreux and inventor, engineer and start up advisor Catherine Mohr.

Last year, Sherry Coutu’s ‘Scale Up’ report was published, highlighting recommendations for cities, governments, entrepreneurs, corporates and academia on how to support a greater number of scale ups in the UK. What better way to embrace this topic for our Cambridge community than to hear from entrepreneurs who have scaled up their own businesses and can share their thinking on the ground breaking technologies that will help shape the next wave of scale ups?

This year’s Cambridge event is being organised by Bailey Fisher Executive Search and presented in partnership with Cambridge University Press, Barclays, Google for Entrepreneurs and CUE. The event is part of the larger SVC2UK programme taking place across London, Cambridge and Manchester that is being led by London & Partners.

Attendance at this event is free of charge, but places must be registered in advance. To register to attend the event http://www.eventbrite.com/e/scaling-up-the-next-big-opportunity-tickets-18330140945
