Cambridge Tech Week partners with Tech Nation for Manchester Next Wave

The partnership reflects Cambridge Tech Week’s national engagement ahead of the Conference Week this September, as conversations around Deep Tech, scaleup growth, investment, and ecosystem collaboration continue across the UK.

As part of the Manchester event, Cambridge Tech Week and Cambridge Wireless have partnered with The Cambridge × Manchester Partnership to host a focused roundtable discussion titled: How Deep Tech Can Change the World. And What We Do Next.

Bringing together founders, investors, industry leaders, institutions, and ecosystem partners from Cambridge, Manchester, and beyond, the session will explore where Deep Tech can most credibly deliver world-changing impact in the near term, and what is required to turn breakthrough innovation into real-world action.

Designed as a practical and action-led discussion, the roundtable will focus not only on opportunity, but on collective responsibility, regional collaboration, and how connected ecosystems such as Cambridge and Manchester can work together to support the next generation of globally significant technology businesses.

The Manchester event forms part of a wider series of ecosystem conversations taking place ahead of Cambridge Tech Week 2026, which returns from 14–18 September under the theme: “How Deep Tech Changes the World.”
