CW name the three next companies to enter their 5G testbed

Following this success, CW are pleased to announce the second cohort of companies to enter the 5G testbed.
HADO – developers of the first-ever physical esport in the world using Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Players strap on head-mounted displays and armband sensors to wield energy balls and shields on a real-world court as if by magic.
"We are investigating ways to make the experience of watching a HADO match as immersive as playing in one, something that can't be done without the low latency and high bandwidth of 5G."

Cambridge Sensoriis – this radar sensor design and consultancy company has over 25 years’ experience in creating systems that incorporate millimetre wave radar.
“Cambridge Sensoriis design high precision radar for long range, all weather outdoor sensing. These are deployed for different autonomy use cases including navigation for unmanned aerial systems (drones), or obstacle detection in front of cars. Our radar provides rich data, for real time processing and control - using networked computing resources to interpret and combine radar with other sensors requires a low-latent high-bandwidth network. We will use the 5G network to provide this network for our sensors with the high-reliability that the use cases require.”

Epitomical - is a technology company focused on developing Connected & Autonomous Systems for the Transport, Future of Mobility and Smart City markets with capabilities across Land, Air, Sea and Space.

About the Testbed
The CW 5G Private Network allows Cambridge’s world-renowned technology community to undertake cutting-edge digital research using 5G. All participating companies have access to an indoor 5G private network, the latest 5G-enabled devices, technology masterclasses and coaching in hardware and software development, project management and commercialisation support. It is housed in the TusPark building on the Cambridge Science Park and supported by Huawei.
