Slides - 'Bluetooth Low Energy Audio - the deep dive'

Following on from the Introduction to Bluetooth Low Energy online SIG event on the 27th October, this SIG then offered a new online training concept for CW – the guided masterclass, starting with a deep dive into the new Bluetooth Low Energy Audio specifications.

Led by Nick Hunn, a Cambridge Wireless SIG champion, who has been involved in the LE Audio specification development from its start, the Deep Dive took delegates through the following topics:

  • Session 1:'LE Audio – What’s new?' - to include,The background to LE Audio; New Concepts and Architecture.
  • Session 2: 'The Nitty Gritty' and will explore; Isochronous Channels and Bluetooth 5.2; Building up and using Audio Streams and Top level profiles.
  • Session 3: 'Changing the way we use audio' which will cover; The new topologies; The impact of broadcast; Personal and private audio and Market timescales.

The aim of the Deep Dive was to guide delegates through the complexity of the new specifications, explaining how they work and fit together, as well as highlighting the potential opportunities.  It was of interest to anyone involved in wireless audio product development, or in the way that our use of voice and music is changing, as technology offers new ways to communicate and consume audio content.
