About Timi Salako
Oluwatimilehin (Timi) Salako is currently Technical Lead for the Hi3 Network Project at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK (CCCU). Hi3 Network is defining the future of moving-image, screen-based and creative technologies through innovative research and development creating a network of industry specialists, researchers and businesses developing new products, services, experiences, and new research at creative digital hubs in Canterbury (CCCU), Folkestone, and Maidstone. Timi is also Creative Science Foundation UK’s Partnership Director for ‘Smart-Innovations‘, an online brainstorming platform aimed at supporting individuals and organisations with their creative thinking and innovation needs. He is passionate about creativity and Innovation and how these can benefit education and business. He obtained a master’s degree in Creative Software Systems from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from FUNAAB, Nigeria. His research interests lay in the areas of Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality, Creative Science, Artificial Intelligence and Human-Computer Interaction. His current research focuses on advancing solutions for Innovation Labs and Hubs.
