Overcoming the Internet of Things Connectivity Challenge

Many people are calling 2014 the year of the Internet of Things. Electric Imp may not know much about calendars, but we are experts at connected hardware. Integrating Internet connectivity into products is more difficult than most companies realize. There are a myriad of challenges that are often overlooked in the early stages of connected product design, ranging from selecting the proper protocol, security, to building a scalable platform for thousands to tens of thousands of connections.
