Appleyard Lees Appoints Head of IP Commercial Contracts to Support Clients of all Sizes

Commercial and intellectual property solicitor Amritjot Jethwa has joined Appleyard Lees as the firm’s first Head of Commercial IP Contracts.

Amritjot leads the commercial IP contract service offering at Appleyard Lees. The firm’s commercial contract team also includes specialist IP solicitors Chris Hoole, Robert Cumming, Daniel Bailey, and Christopher Thomas.

Amritjot advises on, reviews, drafts, and negotiates complex commercial IP contracts, with a particular focu on in-licensing and out-licensing, across all types of IP. Amrit also has a wealth of expertise drafting bespoke collaboration agreements to support clients with AI-based platforms. 

With a varied client roster, Amritjot supports founder-CEO start-ups, equity-backed, early-stage technology companies, SMEs, charitable organisations, universities (including international institutions and their respective tech transfer offices), multinational pharmaceutical and technology companies, and government departments.
