Crypta Labs have been selected by Tech Nation as one of the UK’s 20 leading scaleups to join their first national cyber security growth programme. The cyber programme is designed to help and support cyber security companies across the UK, funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as part of government funding.

Crypta Labs has developed a public key infrastructure (PKI) solution that securely sends and receives information between connected vehicles and ITS roadside units. This solution combines our Hardware Security Module with a C-ITS PKI application layer designed specifically for ETSI EN 302 755 v.1.3.1.

Margot James MP, Minister of State for Digital and the Creative Industries commented: “Congratulations to all the firms selected for this new programme which shows the depth of tech talent right across the country. This important scheme will not only allow promising cyber security startups to access world-class expert advice but also help us achieve our aim of making Britain the safest place in the world to be online."

The successful cohort was chosen by a panel of expert judges from the public and private sector. The judges assessed applicants against their growth record to current scaling plans, expertise, and long-term business potential (both nationally and internationally).

Joe Luong, CEO of Crypta Labs says, “We are extremely excited to be part of the Tech Nation’s First National Cyber Security Growth Programme. We believe combining quantum safe solutions to existing encryption will make future Connected and Autonomous Vehicles safer for everyone.”
